NOTICE of DEATH - CHARLENE NICHOLS

Charlene NICHOLS, 87, of Mount Ayr, formerly of Tingley, died February 13, 2007, at Ringgold County Hospital in Mount Ayr. Services are pending at Wilson-Watson and Armstrong Funeral Home, 205 W. Monroe St., Mount Ayr.

OBITUARY - CHARLENE (BORRUSCH) NICHOLS

Charlene NICHOLS, 87, of Mount Ayr, formerly of Tingley, died February 13, 2007, at Ringgold County Hospital in Mount Ayr.

Services will be 10:30 a.m. Friday, Feb. 16, at Tingley Christian Church. The Rev. Merlin WILKINS and the Rev. Alan RUSK will officiate the service. Burial will be in Tingley Cemetery. Open visitation will be after 10 a.m. today with the family receiving friends 6:30 to 8 p.m. today at Wilson-Watson and Armstrong Funeral Home, 205 W. Monroe St., Mount Ayr. Memorials may be directed to Tingley Christian Church or Mount Ayr Health Care Center. Online condolences may be left at:

Charlene NICHOLS, daughter of Nancy Christine (WEEDA) and Charles Henry BORRUSCH, was born October 18, 1919, in Tingley. She graduated from Tingley High School in 1936. On May 10, 1941, Charlene married Franklin NICHOLS in Maryville, Mo. She was a homemaker and member of Tingley Christian Church and Christian Women's Fellowship.

Survivors include a son, Charles Dean (wife Mary) NICHOLS of Lakewood, Colo.; two daughters, Nancy (husband Ron) WILLEY of Mount Ayr and Merry Ann SWANK of Creston; four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Charlene was preceded in death by her parents, husband and sister Alta Marie BORRUSCH.
