OBITUARY - BARRY B. WALKER

Barry B. WALKER, 60, of Des Moines, formerly of Kellerton, died August 25, 2004, upon arrival at Mercy Medical Center in Des Moines.

Services will be 10:30 a.m. Monday, August 30, at the United Methodist Church in Kellerton. The Rev. Rick HAWKINS will officiate the service. Burial will be in Maple Row Cemetery at Kellerton. Open visitation will be after 1 p.m. Sunday with the family receiving friends 7 to 8 p.m. Sunday at Wilson-Watson and Armstrong Funeral Home, 205 W. Monroe St., Mount Ayr. Memorials may be directed to the United Methodist Church in Kellerton.

Mr. WALKER, son of Anna B. (BALDON) and Lyman G. WALKER, was born June 30, 1944, in Kellerton. He graduated from Kellerton High School in 1962, attended Iowa State University and received a business degree from Des Moines Area Community College. He was employed as a sales representative and heavy equipment operator. He also owned and operated Best Delivery in Des Moines. He lived in the Des Moines area most of his adult life.

Survivors include two brothers, Bob (wife Loy) WALKER of Marengo and Lyman J. (wife Ann) WALKER Jr. of Searcy, Ark.; and a brother-in-law, Charles F. ALEXANDER of Stouffville, Ontario, Canada.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, C. Louise ALEXANDER.
