OBITUARY - DWAYNE WAHL

Dwayne WAHL, 75, of Clearfield died May 6, 2005, at Clearview Home in Mount Ayr.

Services will be 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, May 10, at Wilson-Watson and Armstrong Funeral Home, 205 W. Monroe St., Mount Ayr. The Rev. Edward SHIELDS will officiate the service. Burial will be in Marshalltown Cemetery, rural Benton. Visitation will be 7 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home in Mount Ayr. Memorials may be directed to Hospice of Central Iowa.

Mr. Wahl, son of Mayme (SPICER) and Francis WAHL, was born July 9, 1929, in Diagonal. He graduated from Clearfield High School in 1948. On March 4, 1954, he married Viola BOLINDER in Clearfield. He worked as an electrician with Boeing Airplane Co. 30 years. He lived in Wichita, Kan., 11 years before transferring with Boeing to Bethel, Wash. He retired and returned to Clearfield 19 years ago. He was a member of the Clearfield Lions Club and served in the U.S. Navy from 1948 to 1952.

Survivors include his wife, Viola WAHL of Clearfield; and a son, Daniel WAHL of Everett, Wash.

He was preceded in death by his parents.
