OBITUARY - REVA UNGER

THORNTON — Reva UNGER of Clear Lake passed away at Mercy Medical Center-North Iowa on Thursday [March 17, 2005] at the age of 82.

Her funeral will be held at 1:30 p.m. Monday at the Thornton United Methodist Church with Rev. Rose CALDERON-KAHN presiding. Interment will be in the Meservey Cemetery.

Visitation will be 5-8 p.m. today at Retz-Grarup Funeral Home, Thornton.

Reva was born Sept. 20, 1922, to Walter and Letha (CRISWELL) ESTEL in Tingley, Iowa. She graduated from Fertile High School.

On Dec. 17, 1941 Reva married Lawrence MARLOW in Tama, Iowa. To this union five children were born: Maureen (Harlan) LEAKE, Mason City, Marjorie (Garry) BENSON, New Hampton, Ann DIRKS, Thornton, James (Connie) MARLOW, Charles City, and Jeanie (Gary) CONRAD, Clear Lake. Reva loved her family and was blessed with 11 grandchildren, 21 grat-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.

In her zest for life, she loved to dance and crochet, and was known to have a great sense of humor.

Reva is preceded in death by her parents and her brother and his wife, Ronald and Ida Lou ESTEL.
