KEITH EDSEL ROBISON KILLED in AUTO ACCIDENT

Sorrow filled the community heart Saturday evening when word was received that Keith Edsel, seven-year old son of Mr. and Mrs. B. R. [Reah and Hanna] ROBISON, of Ellston, had been killed in an automobile accident near Tingley.

The little boy's mother suffered severe injuries and is now recovering at the greater Community hospital in Creston.

The accident happened about six o'clock Saturday evening when a Chevrolet driven by Miss Christine WRIGHT, of Mount Ary, and a Hudson driven by Mr. ROBISON collided at the cross roads one mile south and one-half milre east of Tingley.

Occupants of the ROBISON car were Mr. and Mrs. ROBISON and four children. Miss WRIGHT and her little sister were the occupants of the other car.

Keith Edsel, youngest son of Mr. and Mrs. B. R. ROBISON, was born June 11, 1926, at Grand River, Iowa, and departed this life September 23 in an automobile accident, one mile south of the east side of Tingley, Iowa, aged seven years, three months and twelve days.

Little Keith spent his entire life in Chicago, Ill., with the exception of the past few months when his parents moved to a farm one and one-fourth miles east of Ellston, Iowa.

Keith was a child of kind dispositon and was loved by all his little friends and classmates.

He leaves to mourn his departure his parents; twin brothers, Winton and Wendell; and sister, Norma; his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. L. M. LILES, of Grand River, and Grandfather, B. F. ROBISON, of Ellston; a number of aunts and uncles along with a host of other relatives and friends.

We had a little treasure,
He was our joy and pride,
We loved him. Oh!
Perhaps too well for
Soon he slept and died.
All is dark within our home.
Lonely are our hearts today;
For the one we loved so dearly,
Has forever passed away.

Funeral services were held Monday afternoon, September 25, at 2:30 o'clock at the Ellston church, conducted by Rev. L. G. WOLFE. Interment made in the Ellston cemetery.

NOTE: B. Reah ROBISON, father of Keith Edsel, was born on October 21, 1900, and died March 23, 1970. Keith's mother Hanna M. (?) ROBISON was born on November 10, 1901, and died July 26, 1972. B. Reah and Hanna M. were married on August 23, 1926. They were interred at Ellston Cemetery, Ellston, Ringgold County, Iowa.
