NOTICE of DEATH.

Just as we close our letter we hear of the death of little Sadie DITZLER, aged about 5 years, the daughter of Mrs. DITZLER, of Wirt. She died at 4 o'clock a.m. Monday, of brain fever. She was ill only a few days, and steadily grow (sic) worse from the beginning never removing or or feeling better until death relieved her of her suffering. It must be sweet in childhood to give back the spirit to its maker ere the heart grows familiar with the paths of sin and sows its seeds to garner up its bitter fruits. "Sleep on sweet babe the flowers that will wake around thee are not half so fair." We have not learned where she will be barried (sic). The grief stricken family have the sympathy of the intire (sic) community.

OBITUARY

Died, in Wirth, March 28th, 1887, Sada DITZLER, daughter of John and Catherine DITZLER, aged 5 years, 7 months and 1 day.

Funeral services were conducted at the house by Rev. LOCKE. The sermon was preached in the church to a large concourse of people, from 1st Samuel, 20th chapter and latter clause of 3rd vers, by the writer. The remains were laid in the new cemetery near Wirth.

A precious one from us has gone.
A voice we loved is stilled:
A place is vacant in our home,
Which never can be filled.
God in His wisdom has recalled,
The hope His love has given
And though the body moulders here,
The soul is safe in Heaven.

Card of Thanks.

Mrs. DITZLER and family wish the people of Wirt and vicinity to receive their sincere thanks for their help and sympathy in this their time of sore affliction. -J. WIRTH.
