OBITUARY - CYRUS HENRY CAVENDER

Little Cyrus Henry CAVENDER, infant son of Pauline and Wayne CAVENDER, was born February 6, 1925, and departed this life at 9:30 p.m. Thursday, March 26 [1925], aged six weeks and six days. He is survived by his father and mother, his little brother Marvin, his grandparents and a host of other relatives.

The litle one was sick only a few days and the end came very unexpectedly. Although the little life was short, he had won a place of deep affection in the hearts of all who knew him.

God, in His infinite wisdom saw fit to take back to Himself the little life that was lent to the sorrowing parents for a short time, making a stronger link in the chain which draws us to the Master who loved the little children so much that He took them in His arms and blessed them.

The parents have the sympathy of the entire community in their affliction and all unite in asking the God may comfort them in their sorrow.

In God's great life garden grow
many lillies fair.
The Master down from Heaven looks
And sees them blooming there.
He thinks to choose the fairest one
The Heavenly home to grace,
he thinks to choose the fairest one
The Heavenly home to grace,
And this little bud unfolded yet
Is gathered from its place
To bloom in Heaven's garden.
There safe from earth's alarms
He'll be waiting for our coming
Safe in Jesus' loving arms.
The funeral was held at the Church of Christ at Delphos March 28 at 1 p.m., conducted by T. S. RHOADES. Interment was made in the Kellerton [Maple Row] cemetery.
