OBITUARY - MRS. DAVID CALDWELL

Luella, daughter of Silas and Julia GRAHAM, was born in Jackson county, Ohio, January 9, 1874. A few years later she came with her parents to Harrison county, Mo., where she resided until her marriage to David CALDWELL December 24, 1891. They established their home on a farm near Caledonia, where they lived until they moved to their present home near Mount Ayr, where she died Friday evening.

She was the mother of six children - three boys and three girls - Mrs. Bertha SHIELDS, Mrs. Elsie RICHARDSON, Mrs. Erma SMITH, Burr and Cludy, all living near Mount Ayr, and Glen at home. They were at her bedside when the end came.

She and her husband was converted and joined the Methodist church at Caledonia, where she held membership until it was transferred to the Methodist church at Mount Ayr.

Besides her husband and family she leaves to mourn her death an aged mother, three brothers, three sisters, and twenty grandchildren. She was a devoted wife and mother, loving her home and family dearly and will be greatly missed by them and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services were held from the Methodist church at Mount Ayr Sunday afternoon at two o'clock conducted by T. S. RHOADES and assisted by Rev. E. S. MENOHER. Interment was in Rose Hill cemetery [Mount Ayr].

Card of Thanks.

We wish to acknowledge with thanks the many kind deeds and sympathizing words expressed by our friends and neighbors at the death of our wife and mother. Also for the beautiful floral offerings. - Dave CALDWELL and Children
