OBITUARY - FLEMING MANSFIELD BUTLER

Fleming Mansfield BUTLER, son of Henry and Mary BUTLER, was born November 23, 1856, in Harrison county, Missouri, and died March 27, 1922, at one o'clock. He was married to Jane CAIN in 1895. He leaves a wife and two stepsons, Cleave and Earl CAIN; one brother, W. H. BUTLER, of Watterson; two sisters, Nettie WILLEY, of South Dakota, and Mrs. Ella PYLE, of Lamoni, Iowa. His father and mother, two brothers and one sister preceded him in death. Besides these he leaves a host of friends and neighbors to mourn his departure.

The funeral was held from the home March 28 at 2:30 p.m., and the body laid to rest in the Watterson (a.k.a. Oakdale) cemetery [Ringgold County, Iowa].
