DEATH of RALPH BOYD BUCK

Ralph Boyd BUCK, son of Mr. and Mrs. John [and Ruth] BUCK, Jr. was born near Diagonal, Iowa, December 30, 1925, and passed away at the Greater Community hospital in Creston, Iowa, Sunday, April 13, 1930, at the age of four years, three months and 13 days.

Boyd became ill Monday, March 31, and was taken at once to the hospital, where a mastoid operation was performed.

A physical examination disclosed the fact that he also had spinal meningitis and although he put up a brave fight, he gradually grew weaker until God took his little spirit home to rest.

Boyd leaves a happy memory of four short years with us, always cheeful, never complaining.

Surviving are his father and mother, three brothers - Paul, Billie and Max; his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. R. M. BUCK, and Mr. and Mrs. J. W. COWELL, and two great-grandparents, besides hosts of relatives and friends.

Short funeral services were conducted at the Rhoades Funeral Parlor at 2:30 Monday afternoon, by T. S. RHOADES. Interment in Rose Hill cemetery [Mount Ayr, Ringgold County, Iowa].

Card of Thanks.
We wish to acknowledge with sincere thanks the many helpful acts and kind words of sympathy expressed by our neighbors and friends during the illness and at the death of our loving son and brother.--Mr. and Mrs. John BUCK, Jr., and sons.
