IN MEMORIAM - JOHN WALLACE BUCK

John Wallace BUCK, the son of William John and Mary Elizabeth (WALLACE) BUCK was born in Mount Ayr, Ringgold County, Iowa on July 30, 1866. He was the twin brother of of William Brown BUCK. John married on December 1st, 1897 to Nettie Mary McWILLIAMS in Mount Ayr, Ringgold County, Iowa. They were the parents of five children: Mabel Ann, Wallace Marshall, Helen Belle, Margaret Lucille, and Dorothy Ruth. He died at Creston, Union County, Iowa, on November 16, 1947 and was interred at Rose Hill Cemetery, Mount Ayr, Ringgold County, Iowa. Nettie May (McWILLIAMS) BUCK was born in Ringgold County, Iowa on February 15, 1875, the daughter of Thomas Telfer and Sarah Catherina (DALTON) McWILLIAMS, and died in Mount Ayr on September 8, 1958. She was interred beside John, Rose Hill Cemetery.
