OBITUARY - MRS. MARGARET (PETERSON) BROWN

Margaret PETERSON was born in Germany March 24, 1847, and came to this country with her brothers when she was nineteen years of age, settling at Clinton, Iowa. Later she was married to Paul BROWN and to this union were born six children. One daughter preceded her in death. Those living are John Peterson BROWN, Mrs. Paulina McREYNOLDS of Colorado, Edd BROWN of Mount Ayr, Mrs. Irving TRULLINGER of Mount Ayr, and J. W. BROWN of Redding

Eighteen years ago the husband passed away and since that time she has made her home with her son, J. W. BROWN, until a few months ago when she came to stay with her daughter, Mrs. TRULLINGER, where she passed away February 5th after a brief illness.

Some seventeen years ago she gave her life to her Savior and united with the Middle Fork M.E. church and remained a faithful member until the end. She was a kind and loving mother and she will be greatly missed by her loved ones.

The funeral was held fromthe Middle Fork church February 7th at 11 a.m., conducted by Rev. T. S. RHOADES, and the burail was in the Middle Fork cemetery.
