Ruth Angus enjoyed celebrating her 101st birthday on Sunday, January 8, 2017. Her son Warren took her to the morning worship service at the United Baptist-Presbyterian Church, where part of her family joined her. Later a lunch and cake and ice cream were enjoyed, along with visiting and playing games.
Attending were Tom and Helen Pollock of Malvern, Bill, Cathy, Katie, JT and Gabi Pollock of Pella, Dan, Stephanie, Will and Viviana Pollock of Emerson, Jeff, Tyler, Jacob and Hayden Pollock of Treynor, Jen Angus of Coralville, Dave and Marie Still, Dennis, Nina, Tate and Isac Dugan, Warren and Betty Angus, Lucas, Amanda, Lewis, Brooklyn and Esme Angus, Austin Angus, Frank and Judy Pollock, Ellen Powell, Mike and Amanda Maddy of Mount Ayr.
