67th ROUDYBUSH REUNION HELD

The 65th annual family reunion of the family of William and Maria Griffth Roudybush was held Sunday, June 25, 2017 at the home of Jim Brown near Lenox. A cool and sunny day gave the fifty-seven family members who attended a time to visit and share a potluck dinner. Several family members shared updates. Dillon David celebrated his 15th birthday and Roy and Nancy Lumbard celebrated their anniversary at the reunion. Pauline Crussell has her birthday on the 26th.

The following births were reported: Carrie Gaeta had a daughter Calista Gaeta born on May 18; a daughter, Charlotte Ruth Stafford was born to William and Amy Stafford on June 2, 2016, and a son, Ryan Robert Stafford on June 13, 2017, grandparents are Eldon and JoAnn Ballenger; a daughter, Layla T. Kay to Brad and Melissa Dolecheck Clymer on October 6, 2016, grandparents are Duane and Eula Dolecheck; Amanda Gaeta had a daughter, Norma Ruth Axle, born on March 27, 2017, grandparents are Vince and Janice Gaeta; Audreigh Grace Chapman was born June 6, 2017, to Kaeleb Chipman and Mikaela Couch, Bruce and Michelle Berry-Hower are grandparents, great grandparents are Ernie and Mary Beth Hower, and great-great grandparents are Roy and Nancy Lumbard.

Marriages reported were Ethan and Caitlyn King on December 8, 2016, grandson of Joyce King, and Andy and Gabby Jenkins Haley were married on June 17, 2017, son of Jack and Janet Haley.

Jim Haley, son of Harry and Ruth Haley, died on April 11, 2017 and Duane Sobotka, son of Leonard and Venita Sobotka, passed away on June 22, 2017.

Steve Barker presided over the business meeting. Secretary Kris Roudybush read the minutes of last year's reunion. Steve Barker, president, and Kris Roudybush, secretary, will continue to serve for the next year. A monetary gift was given to Jim Brown for hosting the reunion at his home. We will plan to meet there again next year at noon on June 24, 2018. A tour was given of Jim's new home.
