Brown Reunion

The annual Brown reunion was held August 15, 2015, in the community room at the Ellston Methodist Church, Ellston, IA.There were 59 in attendance. Three deaths, five marriages, two college graduations, seven high school graduations and three births [were] reported. Eleven were present with the Brown name.

Michelle Blakenship traveled the greatest distance, Berniece Carroll was the oldest and Grant Staats was the youngest to attend.

Those in attendance were David and Sharon Robinson, Altoona, IA; Gale Brown, Neola, IA; Vic and Linda Brown, Estherville, IA; Reta, Larry and Tracey Freihage, Fred and Janelle and Grant Staats, all of Ellston, IA; LaRetta Novak, Lura Staats, and Jeff Bohn, of Creston, IA; Georgia Walter and Junior Carroll of NE; Brian and Laurie Robinson, Runnells, IA; Gail Johnson, Doris Goldner, Jennifer, Mark and Nicolle Overton of Des Moines; Dwain Brown of Pleasant Hill, IA; Toni and Nate Taylor and Mary Harris of Grand River, IA; Leona Brown, Jamie and Garrett Storhoff and Nancy Ovale, all of Ames, IA; Karla, Katherine, Russell Brown and Colleen Taylor, all of South Dakota; Berniece Carroll and Ray Carroll of Eldon, IA; Randell Brown, Doris Todd, Verna Martin from Mount Ayr, IA; Mary and Ed Blankenship of Ohio; Michelle Blankenship of New York; Felicia Novak and Lois Ibbotson of Tingley, IA; Pam, Toney, Ryan and Matt Moore from Ankeny, IA; Mindy Coles of New Virginia; Carmen, Brian and Bruce Foland of Murray, IA; Linda and Arlan Brown, Allison and Neil Frasier of Indianola, IA; Rick and Judy Lehman of Glenwood, IA.

The 2016 reunion will be held at the same location the third Saturday in August.
