BARKER FAMILY REUNION

The Waubonsie Memorial Center in Benton was the venue for a reunion of the descendants of (the late) Clarence BARKER and LaViece BARKER. The gathering took place on Saturday, May 21, 2011. It included an abundant potluck deli luncheon and an afternoon of conversation, fun and games with prizes awarded to winners of contests.

Those in attendance were Karyn STONE, Mark STONE, Monica STONE, Michelle and Allie MARCHESANO and Allie's friend Madi MUENCH, David and Carol BARKER, John and Heather VEACH, Sean and Cong BARKER, Michael and Kimberly BARKER and Malinda, Nick and Emily THOMAS, all of Des Moines; LaViece BARKER and Gary, Linda, Wesley, Jordan and Leah KLEJCH, all of Mount Ayr; Dan and Jeannie BARKER of Benton; Leslie and Alexa SALAMAH of Owensboro, KY; Dick and Lana GIBSON and Curtis, Stephanie, Taylor and Lindsey REINKE, all of Saint Joseph, MO; Steve, Shelly and Tyler GIBSON and Tyler's fiancee, Alyssa HUFF, all of Cosby, MO; Lance, Jill, Ben and Katie BARKER of Fort Collins, CO; Allison HUNTER of Denver, CO, and Larry and Rita HUNTER of Redondo Beach, CA.

Afternoon visitors were Doris RULE and Susan EASTON of Mount Ayr.
