Mount Ayr Class of 1943

The Mount Ayr high school class of 1943 held the 67th reunion on July 17, 2010 at the Senior Citzen Center in Mount Ayr. The meal was served by the Wishard Chapel ladies.

Barton McANINCH welcomed everyone. There was a lot of visitn gand catching up over the last year.

Bertha JEZEK read letters from classmates who weren't able to come: Ivan DENNIS, Annabel and Bob MALEY, Everlyn (DRAKE) COOK, Jean (OLSEN) KIDNEY and Walter HUGGINS. Barton had reports from Jean (LIGGETT) BURNHAM, Phyllis (SMITH) ROBINSON and Charlotte (WILLIAMS) MORRISSEY.

Those attending were Barton and marlys McANINCH of Cedar Falls, Tom TEALE and Terry WHEELER of Urbandale, Bertha JEZEK of Diagonal, Dale JEURGENS of Clearfield, Rose HUNT of Redding, Barbara WALTER, Wanda McGAHUEY, Dorothy REYNOLDS, Earl BRAND, Eldeen and Denver GRIGGS, Cleola GEIST and Retha DILLENBURG, all of Mount Ayr.

It was decided to have another reunion next year. Arrangements this year were made by Barton, Bertha and Cleola and they plan to do it for next year.
