JOHNSON REUNION

The annual JOHNSON reunion was held September 19, 2010 at the Tingley community center with 59 in attendance. The 2011 reunion will be held September 18, 2011 at the Tingley community center.

Chuck LONG from Minnesota returned thanks before everyone enjoyed the potluck meal. Polly HARTSOOK decorated the tables with various colored gourds.

It was a special day as they celebrated Harriet LONG'S 95th birthday and Cloene THOMPSON'S 90th birthday. Doris BEEN of Belmond furnished a beautifully decorated cake will fall-colored flowers.

Those attending from out of state were Dale and Janice JOHNSON of Mahtomedi, MN; Chuck and Sandy LONG of Beaver Bay, MN; Colleen NETCOTT of Rothburg, MN; Chrystal JOHNSON of Waverly, NE; Bill and Jeanne THOMPSON of Dacono, CO; Paul and Patty LONG of Calicute, NV; Connie and Robert KLEIN of Afton, OK; and Dennis and Tracy NEELY of Saint Joseph, MO.

Those atttending from Iowa were Doris BEEN, Rod and Laurie and Dana BEEN and Joni and Luke WORDEN, all of Belmond; Steve and Jeri BEEN of Clarion; Jo Ann BOATS of Cedar Rapids; Carl and Gloria Van ZEE of Colfax; Larry and Leta THOMPSON of Cumberland; Lisa LUTHER of Fontanelle; Bridgette DELNEY and Carrie BRINKMEYER of Hubbard; Kayla, Coen and Nikko MILLER of Harlan; Polly and Gary HARTSOOK of Shannon City; Robert and Jenifer JOHNSON and Richard and Chrystal JOHNSON of Tingley; Shayna GREENE and Robbie MASON of Diagonal; and Lynsey BRANDERHORST of Pella.
