RUCKMAN 50th ANNIVERSARY

John and Patty RUCKMAN of Liberty, Mo., celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on Oct. 17. The RUCKMANS returned to Savannah to celebrate with her mother, Mozelle BERNE of Tybee Island, and their son, Gary of Mill Valley, Calif., and other family members.

The couple were married Oct. 17, 1953.

Mr. RUCKMAN, a native of Mount Ayr, Iowa, served in the Air Force at Hunter Air Force Base in Savannah. He retired from the trucking industry. Mrs. RUCKMAN, the former Parilee BERNE, is a native of Savannah and a homemaker.

The couple have three children, Karen, Gary and David. They have seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
