HARMONY SCHOOL No. 6
Grant TownshipHarmony School No. 6, Grant Township, was located southwest of Diagonal near the Jack VICKER [1981] home. The old school house was moved across the road and used as a corn crib on Frank KELLER's farm. Gerold KELLER remembers it was moved using horse power. This new building, pictured above, was completed in the fall of 1915.
The school closed in the spring of 1949. The school yard is now [1981] owned by Lawrence RYCHNOVSKY. The building was torn down by Albert RYCHANOVSKY.
