SAGE-LEWIS.

The home of Mr. and Mrs. Charles SAGE was the scene of a pretty home wedding Thursday evening, June nineteenth (19th), at seven o'clock, when their daughter Viola Marie, was united in marriage by her pastor, J. W. JOHNSON, to Willard S. LEWIS of Greenville, Tenn., in the presence of about eighty friends and relative. Mrs. Ralph CREW sang "O Promise Me", followed by Mendelssohn's Wedding March. Misses Jessie and Edna NICKLE unrolled the white ribbons to form an aisle. The bride and groom took their places under an arch of bells and ferns, they bein preceeded by little Miss Lois NICKLE who carried the ring on a white rose. After congratulations, a two-course supper was served. Theywere recipients of many beautiful and useful presents.

The bride was attired in white satin trimmed in lace. She is a charming young lady, a successful teacher in the public schools and a graduate of Cleargeld (sic) High School of Class 1918.

The groom is an estimable young man of many excellent qualities, and an industrious young farmer. He is well worthy of the bride he has won. They will be at home to the many friends on the farm three miles south of Clearfield.

The guests from a distance were: - Miss Alfrena MacPRANG of Cedar Bluffs, Nebr.; Miss Vada THOMPSON of Glenwood, Mo.; Miss Cecile NICKLE of Bedford, Iowa; Mr. and Mrs. Hugh THOMPSON of St. Joseph, Mo.; Mr. and Mrs. John LARGE and family, Mr. and Mrs. Floyd AMES of Athelstan, Iowa; Mr. and Mrs. Elia [rest of clipping missing]
