BETHLEHEM PRIMITIVE BAPTIST CHURCH

Delphos, Ringgold County, Iowa

The Bethlehem Church was a primitive Baptist Church once located near Delphos. The church was a part of the Siloam Baptist Association of south central Iowa and north central Missouri.

The list of members is incomplete due to a loss of records, however what remains gives the surnames of BLAKELY, DODD, and GARD.

When visiting Delphos on May 22, 2009, I found two churches. One had "1921" engraved in the corner stone, and the other is pictured above. Since there were no signs I'm not sure which church this one might be. I have included it on Bethlehem Baptist Church's page since it is representative of many Baptist Churches of the era in Southern Iowa.
