A funeral service will be held 11 a.m., Friday, at the Smith Funeral Home in Grinnell. Interment will be at the Sheridan Cemetery near Grinnell.
Friends may call at the funeral home beginning 12 noon on Thursday and the family will be present from 6 to 8 p.m. on Thursday.
Memorials may be directed to Grinnell Regional Hospice or to the American Cancer Society.
She is survived by two sons, Duane (Carna) Simmons of Keller, Texas and Jerry (Wanda Ervin) Simmons of Argyle, Texas; two grandchildren; two step- grandchildren; one sister, Doris Jones of Brooklyn; one daughter-in-law, Susan Starling of Thomasville, Georgia; and several neices and nephews
