DARYL NORRIS
Daryl Norris, 59, died Monday, May 16, 2005 at Iowa Lutheran Hospital. He was born October 13, 1945 to Jack and Elsie Norris in Grinnell, IA and graduated from Gilman High School. He lived in Burleson, TX from 1984 to 1994, then moved to the Des Moines area. He worked in the printing industry for over 40 years including five years at RR Donnelley Company. He was currently employed as a manager for Armadillo Express.
Daryl is survived by Paula "Cookie" Norris of Des Moines; two daughters, Christina Gonzalez of Mexico and Sonja Metz, of Newton; two stepchildren, Monty Allen and Stephanie Allen of Plano, TX; two sisters, Mary Lou Saunders of Grinnell and Jacque McClenathan of Victor; five grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and five step grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents.
Daryl requested to be cremated with no services planned. Memorial contributions may be directed to the Cardiac Intensive Care Unit at Iowa Lutheran Hospital.
