DEATH OF MRS. EDELBUTE

She Passed Away Tuesday Morning at
the Methodist Hospital in Des
Moines--Burial Here.

The death of Mrs. Melinda Edelbute, wife of F.J. Edelbute, took place at the Methodist hospital in Des Moines, Tuesday at 4 p.m., after a sickness of five days.

Melinda Moore was born in Scott county, Iowa, October 20, 1853. She grew to womanhood in her native county, and was married there in 1881 to F.J. Edelbute, of Newburg. They lived in Newburg four years and then removed to Dickinson county, Iowa. Later they moved to Des Moines and then to Chicago where they lived thirteen years. Nine years ago they returned to Des Moines and have since made that city their home.

Funeral services were held in the Central Presbyterian church of Des Moines Wednesday morning, after which the body was brought by the husband to Grinnell, and interment was made in Hazelwood. Services at the grave were conducted by Dr. Vittum.
