MRS. W.T. LYNCH

Josie Ella Badger was born in North Danville, Vermont, March 23, 1882.

She passed away at her home in Sheridan Township, Poweshiek County, Iowa, Sept. 11. 1922.

The deceased with her parents came to Iowa and settled near Newton in Jasper County the fall of 1883. Here she grew to womanhood and was well and favorably known for her industry and many womanly graces.

March 1, 1905 she was united in marriage to W.T. Lynch. To them were born two sons, Truman Albert and Lyle Thomas.

When yet young in years she heard the call of the Master and gave her life to Christian Service and united with the United Brethren Church. Mrs. Lynch had been in poor health for probably a year. She had gone to Rochester, Minnesota, for treatment, and being of a hopeful spirit she looked forward expecting permanent relief. Her desire to live for her family and loved ones kept her cheerful and hopeful to the end.

Besides those of her immediate relatives and family, she leaves to mourn her loss, her father; three sisters, Mrs. John Ahrens and Mrs. Talmadge Moxley of Newburg and Mrs. Wm. Rowe of Scranton, Kan.; also four brothers, W.A. Badger of Grinnell and A.F. and C.L. Badger of Newburg, with a host of relatives and friends who realize the loss of one who was a good wife and loving mother, a true neighbor and friend.

The funeral services were held on Wednesday afternoon at two o'clock at the M.E. Church in Sheridan Township, conducted by Rev. H.L. Wissler of Chester Center and the body was laid to rest in the Sheridan Cemetery.
