LUCILLE F. WILSON

Lucille Funk Wilson, 72, 420 Spring St., died Tuesday, April 6, at Friendship Manor.

Funeral services will be held Friday, April 9, at 10:30 a.m. at Smith Funeral Home with David Green, pastor of the Assembly of God, officiating. Organist will be Margaret Wheeler. Graveside services will be held Friday at 2 p.m. at Woodlawn Cemetery in Lovilia. Memorials may be made to Hospice Grinnell.

She was the daughter of Hal and Zura Belle Current Moore and was born June 16, 1920, at Des Moines. She attended schools in Tracy and Knoxville.

She was married Feb. 17, 1940, to Kenneth Funk in Carlisle. They lived in Lovilia and in 1952 moved to Searsboro. They later moved to Grinnell where she worked for the Grinnell Shoe Company and from 1966 to 1982 worked as a seamstress for DeLong's Sportswear. Following the death of her husband in 1964 she was married to Chester Wilson March 10, 1966.

She was a member of the Grinnell American Legion Auxiliary.

She is survived by her son, Wayne Funk, Grinnell; one step daughter, Patricia Corwin, Kansas City, Mo.; four grandchildren; two great grandchildren and one sister, Nancy Sandy, Indianola. She was precede in death by her parents, both her husbands and one brother, Lawrence Moore.
