MRS. EMMALINE JONES

Emmaline (Terriberry) Jones was born near White Hall, New Jersey, February 15, 1832. In 1854 she was married to Mr. George T. Jones. Four children were born to this family: George W. Jones who died in 1877, Miss Lamitta Jones, who died in 1903, Miss Mary Jones of Grinnell and Charles V. Jones of Ft. Dodge. Mr. and Mrs. Jones came to Princeton, Ill., in 1869, where they resided until 1881 when they removed to Grinnell.

Mrs. Jones has endured the loss of husband and children, financial loss of fire and failure, physical weakness and pain with unfailing faith and patient trust. She has done her own work well, and leaves a loving memory to (unreadable) knew her. In early life, she united with the Presbyterian Church, and later became connected with the Congregational Church of Grinnell. She was faithful to her profession and lived a true Christian Life.
