WILMA REAVIS MATHENY

SPRINGTOWN - Wilma Reavis Matheny, 81, passed away Saturday, April 22, 2006, in Springtown.

Funeral: 10 a.m. Wednesday at First United Methodist Church of Springtown. Burial: Springtown Cemetery. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Greenwood Funeral Home. Memorials: First United Methodist Church of Springtown, Main and Third, Springtown, Texas 76082; or a charity of choice.

Wilma Reavis Matheny was born April 15, 1925, in Grinnell, Iowa.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 51 years, Norm Matheny; parents, Grant and Eva Reavis; brothers, Ted, Maurice, Clarence, George and Glen; her twin brother, Wilbur; sister, Gertie Houck; and grandson, Christopher Strictland.

Survivors: Daughters, Teresa Strickland and husband, Tim, and Rebecca Hicks, all of Springtown; grandchildren, Sabrina Overholt and husband, Ben, and Crystal Hollis, all of Weatherford, and Jenifer Strickland and Matthew Strickland, both of Springtown; sister, Lela Anderson of Sacramento, Calif.; brother, Russ Reavis and wife, Eve, of Hanover Park, Ill.; and several nieces and nephews.
