ROY TITCOMB SERVICES HELD FRIDAY

Funeral services for Roy Titcomb were held Friday afternoon, Oct. 28, at the Steffy Funeral Home with the Rev. Howard Hayes officiating. Music at the services was provided by Miss Alice Underwood.

Interment was in Forest Home Cemetery with Leo Evans, Cecil Arthur, James Evans, Wilmer Smith, Kenneth Smith and Kenneth Haynes serving as casket bearers.

Mr. Titcomb, 69, died Wednesday, Oct. 26, at St. Francis Hospital in Grinnell.

Roy, son of Jennie and Jacob Titcomb, was born in Bourbon County, Kansas, on June 26, 1897.

In his youth he moved with his parents to Poweshiek County, Iowa. He worked at farming as long as his health permitted.

Roy was preceded in death by his parents; one sister, Mrs. Charles Meyers; and one brother, Clyde.

He is survived by his twin sister, Mrs. Joy Tolles and her husband, Clyde Tolles of Oskaloosa; one brother, Guy Titcomb of Searsboro and a sister-in-law, Mrs. Edna Titcomb of Grinnell.
