HAS PASSED AWAY

Long and Useful Life Ended November 25

Louisa Jennie Farmer Titcomb passed away at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Chas. Myers, 6 miles southeast of Grinnell, Sunday, November 25, 1923 at 8 o'clock A.M., aged 66 years, 8 months and 2 days.

Louisa Jennie Farmer was born at Forest Home, Iowa, March 23, 1857. She spent her later days in and around Barnes City.

She was married to Jacob Riley Titcomb, April 2, 1882. To this union were born seven children, two of whom preceded her in death.

She leaves to mourn her loss her husband and five children, as follows: Mrs. Joy Tolles of New Sharon, Mrs. Allie Myers of Grinnell, Guy of Grinnell, Clyde of Grinnell, and Roy of Barnes City; also six grandchildren and her brothers and sisters, Mrs. J.D. Evans of Searsboro, Mrs. J.W. Brown of Albia, A.R. Farmer of Searsboro, T.R. Farmer of Searsboro, and W.M. Farmer of Kansas, and a host of relatives and friends.

She was converted at the Christian church in Kansas in early childhood and later changed her membership to the Forest Home church, July 26, 1903.

She was a kind and loving mother, a faithful wife and was loved by all who knew her. She was always patient and loving in all her ways and truly deserves the crown of the righteous.
