Knute was born on July 31, 1921 and passed away on Wednesday, April 7, 2010.

Knute was a resident of New Haven, Indiana at the time of passing.

He was a U.S. Army WWII veteran; was a member of American Legion Post #330 and Navy Club Ship #245.

Knute was married to Mary. (Mary Jane McClain)

Service is 3 p.m. Monday at E. Harper & Son Funeral Home, 740 St. Rd. 930 E., New Haven with calling one hour prior to service. The Rev. Jerry Blanchard officiating. Calling is also 1 to 4 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Burial is in Highland Park Cemetery, Fort Wayne with military honors by American Legion Post #330.

Preferred memorials are to New Haven Care and Rehabilitation Center.
