SERVICES TODAY

Craig Fleener, 61, of Searsboro died Monday, Dec. 2, in Searsboro.

He was born Feb. 24, 1907, the son of Clair and Ruby Fleener. After graduating from high school in Searsboro, he moved to California, where he married and worked for many years before returning to Iowa in the fall of 1967.

Soon after his return to Iowa, he was stricken with ill health and was thereafter hospitalized.

He is survived by his parents; two daughters, Ardythe and Marilyn, both living in California; four sisters, Mrs. Dale (Gail) Wildman of Ankeny, Mrs. Jim (Grace) Nettleton of Greene, Mrs. Mel (Audrey) Dudolski of Prairie du Chien, Wis., and Mrs. Cal (Louise) Taylor of Marshalltown; two brothers, Earl of Sioux City and Lyle of Searsboro; plus numerous other relatives and friends.

Funeral services for Mr. Fleener were held at 1:30 p.m. today (Thursday) at the Harden Funeral Home in New Sharon. Burial was in the Searsboro cemetery.
