HAROLD BINGHAM, 91

Harold "Balle" Bingham, 91, of Janesville, Wis., died Wednesday, Sept. 18, at Mercy Hospital in Janesville.

His funeral service was Saturday, Sept. 18, at Watts Funeral Home, Montezuma with the Rev. Burr Bryant officiating. Interment was at the Masonic-IOOF Cemetery, Montezuma.

Casket bearers were Gary Nofsger, Larry Hall, Bob Bingham, Lewis Goodrich, Jerry Dale, and Bob Severns.

Harold was born Nov. 24, 1910, at Columbia, Iowa, the son of Isaac and Zena (Willis) Bingham. He was united in marriage with Arlene Smith Dec. 11, 1937. He owned and operated his farm near Melcher most all of his life until retiring 30 years ago, and has been a Janesville resident since 1995, moving to Janesville from Melcher. He enjoyed watching Wheel-of-Fortune, fishing, and playing checkers with his friend.

Harold is survived by his granddaughter and grandson; two great-grandchildren; his sister, Dorothy Krpan.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Arlene; a daughter, Ann Batten; and three brothers and eight sisters.
