FUNERAL RITES FOR
ELIZABETH ADAMS
ARE HELD MONDAY

Mrs. Elizabeth Adams, 90, died Friday night, March 1st, at the home of her daughter, Mrs. O.B. Stuart, route 4, Grinnell.

Services were conducted Monday, March 4th at Newton with the Rev. Allan K. Williams of the First Methodist church officiating. Burial was in the Rushville cemetery.

Mrs. Adams is survived by her daughter, Mrs. Stuart; two sons, Lloyd of Loveland, Colo., and John of Newton; 12 grandchildren and 22 great grandchildren. She was the last surviving of a family of 16.

She was born in Richmond, Va., in 1866 and later lived in Kentucky. She moved with her family to Kellogg when she was 18 and lived there until her marriage to Hugh Adams in 1891.

They moved to a farm near Rushville where Mrs. Adams made her home until moving to live with her daughter after the death of her husband.

She was a member of the Methodist church and the WSCS.
