MRS. RUSSELL SHELLEY,
FORMER RESIDENT,
DIES IN CALIFORNIA

Grinnell friends have received word from Merrill R. Shelley of Oak View, Calif., of the death of his mother, Mrs. Russell Shelley, on June 7.

Mr. and Mrs. Russell Shelley were former Grinnell residents, having moved from here about 15 years ago.

Mrs. Shelley suffered a heart attack on May 25 and this was followed by a severe stroke. She was in a coma until death.

Services were held June 9 at Faith Chapel at Oak View with interment at Forest Lawn cemetery.

The elder Mr. Shelley is staying with his son and daughter-in-law at 1025 Ventura Avenue, Oak View, Calif.
