RITES HELD FOR
MRS. BULLERS

Gladys Marie Bullers, 83, of Grinnell died Sunday evening, June 1, at Grinnell General Hospital.

Funeral services were conducted at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the Wallace Pence Funeral Home in Newton, with burial in Newton Union Cemetery. Memorials in Mrs. Bullers' name may be left at the funeral home.

The daughter of Charles and Anna Marie Nielsen Lauritson, she was born on May 19, 1903, in Waterloo. She attended the Waterloo public schools and graduated from Boone Biblical College in 1928.

She was married to Samuel Arthur Bullers on July 5, 1928 at Waterloo. She lived in Newton for many years returning to Waterloo in 1978. She had moved to Grinnell in 1982.

Mrs. Bullers worked as a homemaker and had also been employed at Mason's Café, the Spencer Corset Co. and the bakery department of Stockton's Super Valu in Newton.

She was a member of the Newton Assembly of God Church where she also served as a Sunday School teacher.

Survivors include a daughter, Anna Marie Mulbrook of Rockford, Ill.; 15 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and one sister, Mae Bunger of Phoenix, Ariz. She was preceded in death by her husband in 1952; an infant daughter, Joyce; a son, Daniel; four brothers and two sisters.
