PAUL C. BULLERS

Paul was born the son of Samuel Bullers and Gladys Lauritson Bullers on September 21, 1939 in Newton, Iowa. He was raised in Newton and graduated from Newton High School in 1957.

He was united in marriage to Betty See on June 1, 1958 at the First Assembly of God Church in Grinnell. Following their marriage the couple lived in Grinnell. He worked at various gas stations in Grinnell, more notably the APCO gas station he managed. He began working for Maytag in 1968 until his retirement in 1999.

Paul's family was his life and his love was displayed through the lessons in life he taught his children and simply being a good listener. His enjoyments included taking the family on vacations, camping, listening to country music, and watching sports, especially the Green Bay Packers and the Iowa Hawkeyes.

Paul is survived by his children, Michael (Peggy) Bullers of York, Nebraska, Anna Butler of Grinnell, Melody 'Sue' Bullers of Grinnell, Kelly (Larry) Ehlinger of Urbandale, and Matthew (Jennifer) Bullers of Grinnell; nine grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; two brothers, Sam (Marge) Bullers of Tucson, Arizona and John (Pam) Bullers of North Liberty, Iowa; his sister, Anna (Doyle) Mulbrook of Rockford, Illinois; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife Betty on August 27, 2007; two grandchildren, Kevin and Kyle Bullers; two brothers, Daniel and David Bullers; and his sister, Joyce, who died in infancy.
