GLEN STRONG
SERVICES HELD

Glen William Strong, 76, of Stockton, Calif., died Tuesday, June 20, in Stockton, following a lengthy illness.

The son of John M. and Amelia Meesz Strong, he was born Oct. 4, 1895, in Malcom Township. He made his home in the Malcom and Montezuma area until 1935 when he moved to California and worked as a landscape gardener.

Mr. Strong is survived by his three sisters, Vada Whitehead of Montour, Mrs. Clarence (Aleta) Simpson of Montezuma, and Mrs. Lester (Rena) Hamilton of Ewart, along with several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Mrs. Della Strong Roberts, who died in 1965.

Funeral services for Mr. Strong were held at 11 a.m. Saturday at the Smith Funeral Home, with the Rev. Martin Gruneich, pastor of the Montezuma and Ewart Presbyterian churches, officiating. Organist was Mrs. Willard Heffner. Pallbearers included Ed Hamilton, Booker Kiner, Paul McConnell, Tom Sanders, Elver Strong, and Lyle O. Wiley.

Burial was in Ivy Hill Cemetery, Malcom.
