DAVID J. ICENBICE, 22

David Joseph Icenbice, 22, of New Sharon, died at Mahaska County Hospital in Oskaloosa on Saturday, Dec. 9, 2006.

His funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 13, at Watts Funeral Home in Montezuma. Friends may call after 6 p.m. on Tuesday. Family will greet friends from 6 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday at the Watts Funeral Home.

David Joseph Icenbice, the son of Joseph Lee Icenbice and Roberta Ann Icenbice, was born Feb. 2, 1984, at Grinnell. He graduated from Montezuma High School in 2002. He worked as a union millwright for Winger Companies. He loved to be outdoors, enjoying hunting, fishing and racing. Dave was always willing to help friends and family on projects, but the joy of his life was his son, Keaton.

Those left to honor Dave's memory include his fiancé, Nichole Lynn Pothoven of New Sharon; his son, Keaton Joseph Icenbice; his dad, Joseph Icenbice of Deep River; his mom, Roberta Icenbice of Heartford, Wis.; his brother, Matthew Christopher Icenbice of Deep River; his grandparents, Cathryn and Carrol Shaull of Millersburg and Pauline Icenbice of Deep River; and his great-grandfather, Edward Reitzler of North English.

Memorials may be designated to the Keaton Icenbice Scholarship Fund.
