MRS. GLADYS DILLE
DIES AT HOSPITAL

Mrs. Gladys G. Dille, 66, of 922 Reed St., died Sunday afternoon at Grinnell General Hospital. She had been cared for the past few years at a Montezuma Nursing Home and had been in failing health.

Mrs. Dille was the widow of Alfred E. Dille, who preceded her in death on Jan. 3, 1944. She was born near Stuart on July 18, 1904, the daughter of Irvin and Lena Miller Pote. She attended the schools near her home and later attended AIB school in Des Moines.

On Oct. 7, 1928 she was married at her parents' home in Stuart to Alfred E. Dille. To this union was born one son--Norman E. Dille of Newton. Mr. Dille had operated a radio repair shop before his death and the couple had made their home in Grinnell.

Mrs. Dille was a member of the Methodist church.

Mrs. Dille is survived by her son; three grandchildren--Bruce, Laura and Wayne Dille of Newton; a sister, Mrs. Robert (Helen) Alexander of Des Moines, and a sister-in-law, Mrs. Ollie Canvin of Grinnell.

She was preceded in death by her parents and husband.

Funeral services for Mrs. Dille will be held at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Smith Funeral Home with the Rev. Leslie C. Hall, minister of the Montezuma Methodist church, officiating.

Organist will be Mrs. Willard Heffner.

Burial will be made in Hazelwood Cemetery.

Friends may call at the Smith Funeral Home.
