IMOGENE STAFFORD BRADLEY

Imogene Stafford, daughter of Charles D. and Anna L. Gardner Stafford, was born at Grinnell, Iowa, August 19, 1887, and passed away very peacefully at St. Francis Hospital in Grinnell April 13, 1944, at the age of 56 years, 7 months and 24 days. Except for a few years lived in Huron, S.D. and in Marengo, her entire life was spent in Grinnell, where she gathered about her a large circle of friends.

On March 31, 1908, she was united in marriage to George A. Bradley at Huron, S.D. To this union fur children were born. They are Douglas of Des Moines, George of Los Angeles, Calif., Mrs. Glatha Hurtle of Kellogg, and John in service in the infantry, who had been making his home with his mother in Grinnell.

Besides these four children who sorrow in the passing of their mother, Mrs. Bradley leaves one sister, Mrs. Adela Schwab of Grinnell, and one brother, Robert Stafford, in overseas service, and other relatives and friend.

Mrs. Bradley was a member of the Methodist church o Grinnell, in which she was very active in her earlier years. She was also a member of the Legion Auxiliary, and of the United Service Women's organization.
