DIED.

BEEBE--Sept. 4, 1882, at the Insane Hospital, Independence, Iowa, Chas. Beebe, aged twenty-seven years and ten months.

He wandered a short distance from home when quite young and fell asleep under a burning sun, which affected his brain permanently. His health was always poor and almost entirely failed about the first of April last. His reason seemed dethroned and the 26th of April it was thought best by his friends to send him to Independence for proper medical treatment. He gained slowly physically and mentally, but an abcess formed on his lungs and its rupture was the immediate cause of his death.
