JACKSON - Rose Horn, 87, of Jackson, died Tuesday, Aug. 13, 1991, at St. Francis Medical Center.

She was born Aug. 28, 1903, in Carnforth, Iowa, daughter of Anthony and Frances Eichman Horn.

Horn had been a registered nurse at hospitals in Iowa, retiring in 1966. She was then a private duty nurse in Grinnell, Iowa. She moved to Jackson in 1990 to live with a sister.

Survivors include two sisters, Sister Mary Pauline of Clinton, Iowa, Sally Burke of Jackson; five nieces and a nephew.

She was preceded in death by three brothers and two sisters.

Funeral service will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Grinnell. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery in Victor, Iowa.

Friends may call Thursday night at Smith Funeral Home in Grinnell.

McCombs Funeral Home was in charge of local arrangements.
