SERVICES SET

Margaret A. Foster, 74, of Lancaster, Calif., died Thursday, Oct. 27, in Los Angeles.

The rosary and scripture service will be held at 7 p.m. Tuesday at the Smith Funeral Home. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at St. Mary's Catholic Church, with burial in Hazelwood Cemetery.

Friends may call at the Smith Funeral Home beginning Tuesday evening.

The daughter of Fenton and Lena Harter Foster, she was born Nov. 12, 1913, at Van Cleve, Iowa. She graduated from Newburg High School and lived in Grinnell and Los Angeles. For 31 years she was employed by the Santa Fe Railroad in Los Angeles until her retirement.

She is survived by a brother, John A. Foster of Kingman, Ariz.
