MAX T. FOSTER BURIED IN ARIZONA

Max. T. Foster, 50, a former stock broker with Heller, Rhodes and Co., died Sept. 7, at the Bells Lodge Rest Home in Phoenix, Ariz. He lived at 329 W. Palm Lane in Phoenix and retired about four years ago.

Mr. Foster, a native of Searsboro, went to Phoenix 14 years ago from Iowa. He was a graduate of the University of Illinois (magna cum laude), the Scovill Business College of Sterling, Ill., and Walton School of Accounting in Chicago. He was a member of the Phoenix Executive club, the North Phoenix Baptist Church and an army veteran of World War II.

Services were conducted Sept. 10, in the A.L. Moore and Sons Mortuary by the Rev. David C. Hall and Rev. James Staples. Burial was in the Greenwood Memorial Park.

Surviving are his wife, Fern; a daughter, Mrs. Walter Arnold of Phoenix; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. J.E. Foster of Grinnell; a sister, Mrs. Melvin Miller of Montezuma; and four brothers, Carrol C. of Phoenix, Merle of Kansas City, Mo., Thomas of West Brooklyn, Ill., and Arthur of Rockford, Ill.
