GRANDSTAFF SERVICES HELD

Violet Mae "Daisy" Grandstaff, 53, of Modesto, Calif., formerly of Grinnell, died Nov. 9 at her home.

Funeral services for Mrs. Grandsaff were held Nov. 12 at the Colonial Chapel in Modesto, with burial at Lakewood Memorial Park.

She had attended Grinnell schools, graduating in 1941. On Nov. 7, 1942, she was married to Robert Grandstaff.

She is survived by her husband; one son, Stephen Grandstaff of Modesto; her mother, Vivian Jones of North Hollywood, Calif.; two sisters, Dorothy Wilson of Van Nuys Calif., and Phyllis Matthews of Phoenix, Ariz.; and one brother, C.W. Dean of Grinnell.
