We had not heard until last week of he death of Rev. George M. Adams, of Hedrick, Iowa. The cause of death, which occurred May 8, was cancer of the liver. The funeral services were held May 10 at Hedrick, interment being at Grinnell, Iowa, beside the body of his wife who passed away a few years ago. A son writes: "Father separated from us after a brave and triumphant fight. When he learned he could only be here a little while, he anxiously awaited the hour when he should go and be with Christ. He longed to go." Mr. Adams was a faithful minister of Jesus Christ. He was a kind father and loving husband. In his several pastorates, since leaving the seminary at Morgan Park, he performed his pastoral work with courage and effectiveness and his friends are to be found wherever he labored.
