DUNKERTON -- Oliver Simmerson, 89, yesterday morning at the home of his granddaughter, Mrs. Robert Van Nata, Dunkerton, of complications of age; born June 18, 1860, in Indiana; was married Nov. 28, 1883, at Malcom, Ia., to Mary Tale; leaves two half-brothers, Charles McAninch, Victor, Ia., and Ginn McAninch, Brooklyn, Ia., and four grandchildren; was preceded by his wife; two daughters and a son; services will be tomorrow at 2 p.m. at the Baptist church; burial in Grandview cemetery; body at the Brant funeral home, Oelwein.
