LITTLE GIRL IS
FATALLY BURNED
BY EXPLOSION

Joyce Ann Murk, 4 year old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Christian Murk, was fatally burned last Saturday by the explosion of a kerosene stove in the trailer at Bettendorf, where the family made their home while Mr. Murk was employed in the factory there. The little girl was the granddaughter of Mrs. Gladys Reed of 1006 Pearl street. The mother, before her marriage, was Eleanor Reed. She was married in Minnesota, where the family was making its home.

Funeral services will be held at 2 o'clock Tuesday afternoon from the Snyder Brothers Chapel, with interment in Hazelwood cemetery.
